Elements Credit Card Testing

I would like to hear from organizations who have converted to Elements. Normally (with Transcend) we do what is instructed on page 3 of the Tessitura Payment Gateway Service Documentation which is:

"Switch Tessitura TEST to live Transactions"

This way we can make sure everything works with "real credit card numbers". In addition do the testing we need using our swipes and our Website.

On page 11 of the Tessitura Payment Gateway Documentation I read the following:

"By default the Element configuration has test credentials and a non-functioning URL in place. Please note that the credential supplied to you by Element can't be used in your TEST system"

How have other organizations who have moved to Elements Tested?

  • Bob, we didn’t have to make any changes to our website.

Hi Robert, we recently upgraded from Transcend to Element. This was how we proceeded, hope this would answer all your questions:

    1.      We signed-up for an Element test account from this URL: http://www.elementps.com/express-contact/request-test-account.aspx

    2.      Installed Element using TIM on our Tessitura test server using the above Element test account

    3.      Started testing Element with this test account while our Finance department signed an agreement with the Element for the live account

    4.      Then we reconfigure our Tessitura test server to point to the new Element live account instead of the test account (I guess this what TN document meant by "Switch Tessitura TEST to live Transactions") and made some test transactions (these are real transactions using real credit card to make sure that all reporting and transactions look ok on the Element online services)

    5.      Once all look good, we switched our live Tessitura system from Transcend to Element using the Element live account

I would be happy to help if you have any more specific question.

    Best,

    Mo
