Is it safe to upgrade to SQL Server 2012 Standard, now that we are running Tessitura v12?
I believe that MS has ended mainstream suport for SQL Server 2008 R2 already, so shouldn't I have upgraded to 2012 by now? Anything I need know about this upgrade?
Is it possible to jump ahead to SQL Server 2014 Standard? (Which would buy me a couple more years without having to upgrade again) Thanks in advance for any advice. . .

Thank you, Ken. This is helpful. From those links it sounds like an upgrade to SQL Server 2012 should be done on v12, or before the upgrade to Tessitura v14. And, sometime between now and then Tessitura might or might not announce support for SQL Server 2014. And Windows Server 2008 R2 will continue to be the server OS of choice. I guess I'll try to hold off for now and see what Tessitura does. Thanks again for the links.
