I am trying to modify the Fund Activity report.
What I have done so far:
1. Copied standard report to ld_fund_activity in the local.pbl file.
2. Removed the excess fields
3. Created a header for the new column, Pledge + Gift - Write Off
4. Added a text box for the calculated data
5. in the Expression builder I have this Expression, that when I verify it says it is OK:
( pledge + gift - write_off )
The report shows nothing in this column. I am so confused.
Now that I have found documentation, I found the answer.
Nothing like posting a question to force the finding of a solution....

I was in the process of writing the response below and thought I’d post it anyway (even if it doesn’t turn out to be the answer you found) in case anyone pulls this up on the forum later, as this is a gotcha that I’ve bumped into several times over the years.
Make sure that the output of the local procedure feeding your Infomaker report shows the same fields, in the same order, as the columns in your Infomaker object. Even if you don’t display the columns in your report, if they’re in your procedure, they need to be listed in the columns in Infomaker, or you’ll get gibberish for results in your report.
