Hello,I am looking for information on how to set up a Tessitura Consortium with another organization. I have been searching for documentation about how other companies have approached this and haven't found a lot of information so far. If I understand correctly, different organizations can access different data by the use of control groups and security groups? How does this work for financial information? I am also looking for information about how two or more companies have formed agreements regarding their consortium as to who can see what information and who has administration rights over what functions and data. Any information about how other users have set up their consortium would be helpful.
Thanks!

Hi Joanne,
We’re happy to have a discussion with you and your team about our Consortium model and answer any questions you might have. You’ll find that there are a number of models in use among the different Tessitura consortia. Each has its benefits and issues.
Regards.

Hi Joanne – I would be happy to discuss our experiences – we set up our consortium five years ago and currently have seven members.
My email and phone are below if you want to contact me.

Tessitura is a great software to use as a platform for consortium building. The reason you might not find “standard procedure” in Tessitura is that the Tessitura software is extremely versatile, allowing each consortium to set up policy and procedures unique to their culture. We found this ability to modify structure highly advantageous when we were developing our bylaws and agreements. There are a lot of great consortiums in the world of Tessitura, so I am certain you will have many different opportunities to learn from. If you can get to the conference prior to codifying your consortium agreements, you will be able to obtain excellent information on this topic.
If you would like to know more on how the Arizona TRIO Consortium was set up, I would be glad to discuss it with you.

We would be happy to share from our experience as well. We implemented Tessitura about 10 years ago in our consortium. We are the licensee and currently have three resident companies that use the system as well. I would be happy to set up a time to talk with you about our setup as well as what agreement we have in place.
Thanks,David
