We are a Transcend client, currently trying to implement the AVS validation and decline credit cards when the zip does not match. We have been told that the AVS, CVV does not work in Emulation mode of Transcend so the only way to test this is to set it up in Test and try a transaction. I talked with Transcend and they recommended that rather than using transcend to hold the transaction, I should use the AVS functionality built into the Tessitura Application and not change the settings in Transcend.
We tried to set it up but we have not yet been able to get a transaction to decline on a zip code mismatch. Is there a Transcend client out there who is successfully using the Tessitura AVS validation to decline CC’s? if there is, might you be willing to share some of your knowledge with me via the phone?
