Thought I would ask again as it's been a few years. Anyone NOT storing credit cards in Tess? ( i.e. CC_STORE_ACCOUNT set ).
If this is set, and using Element as a gateway, how do refunds, adjustments get made? Do the last four or transaction ID still appear in Tess for batches?
How far back in time can you go with Element as a gateway ( locked into the processor here )?
I am tagging on to this thread as I am interested as well. Another question that I have is the cost involved. I have heard that doing tokenization costs on a per transaction basis. The thinking was that it would be worth paying the cost for tokenization for recurring charges, but not for one time charges. The Holy Grail would be to have no stored credit card numbers and escape PCI compliance requirements. Anyone doing this or headed that way? Same as Gary, we don't store them.
