Order Import hold code issue

Hi All,

I am experiencing a basic error of Invalid hold code while doing an order import. This can be resolved by changing the hold code in season manager to match the hold code which has been set up in tr_import_order_set. My question is can this be managed through database tables? Does any one know which tables and columns host these codes?

Thanks in advance!

Renu.

  • Hi Renu,

Not sure if this helps, but you can have multiple hold codes defined as breakable in your import order set with a little extra configuration:

    http://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System/Default_Left.htm#CSHID=TR_IMPORT_ORDER_SET|StartTopic=Content%2FOrder%20Import%2FCreating%20an%20Order%20Import%20Set.htm

The relevant info is under the hold code section.

We've automated much of the order import process to the point an agency just needs to send us a nightly email with that day's sales attached and the orders appear in Tessitura by the morning, but we still need staff to carefully set up the relevant system tables and ensure our ticketing build is correct. We don't do any programmatic manipulation of the performance we are importing into, for instance, hold code conflict might be an indication the agent is selling the wrong seat.

    Cheers,

    Patrick.

  • Hi Patrick,

Thanks for sharing this link. Using this documentation I can now define hold codes in TR_IMPORT_ORDER_SET system table which makes hold codes breakable while importing seats.

    Thanks again!

    Renu.
