Hello Tessitura community,
We're starting to configure our user group structure would be very interested to hear a bit about how other organizations approached this task - not so much from the technical setting it up perspective but more about the decision making to decide what to set up and who should see what. We will have a large user base across many departments and will be storing a fair amount of information that is considered sensitive which makes this a very important task.
Also if any fellow NYC organizations would be willing to let us visit and pick their brains in person we would welcome the opportunity. Please reach out to me directly at kschladetzky@amnh.org.
Thank you!Kjersten
We use control groups so that Development can see certain information (protected donor phone numbers and addresses; custom donor contact information and types of research notes), Music/Production can see other information (protected artist phone numbers and addresses; custom artist contract information and types of research notes), and Telemarketing can’t see most lists or any of the above. We also use security settings to keep Telemarketing out of a range of accounts based on constituency.
