So here's the scenario:
I've set up a Custom Header which has a series of smiley or sad faces in different colours depending on whether the Constituent has a flag and date set within a custom table populated via a custom screen. When none of these are set the smiley face doesn't appear at all.
All working well except that the smiley face appears & disappears in an instant if the first constituent opened doesn't have any of the flags set. It sort of flashes on and off the screen, very disconcerting for my users!! They thought I was spying on them..........as if!
Any sensible comments would be greatfully appreciated. I think it's something to do with the loading of the header because it only happens on the first record opening within a session. After that it all settles down.

Interesting! So you're setting the visible property of the image with an if statement. But is the visible checkbox in the image object's properties set to checked by default? If so maybe set it to invisible by default and see if that helps.
Ah, that's a very good thought. I'll give it a try.
