Report E-Mailing including blank .pdf's

Good Afternoon everyone,

We have recently set up for e-mailing reports as PDF's from tess. Everything is working fine, except one thing. The e-mail is sent out, a pdf is included, with the correct name, but the pdf file is an empty shell, normally less than 1kb in size. Has anyone experenced this or can make any suggestions on how to resolve it?

    A few things I had to do...make sure the Email Report SMTP Server value in the T_Defaults table is the IP address (not the name) of your mail server, and reinstall the Sybase Data Window PS printer on all Tessitura servers.  Warren Evans submitted a great document a while ago, that was very helpful, and I am attaching it here.

    Dear Penny,

    Thank you for the response.

    Our Email Report Server SMTP is using the IP address, I have reinstalled the Sybase DataWindow PS driver using the file I received from Liz at Tessitura, all to no avail. I have noticed I cannot use "Save As.... pdf" when viewing reports in Tessitura, it has the same issue, creates a blank shell. On our report server I can save as a pdf as well as from my own machine.

    Hi Sean, We had a lot of problems with sending pdf files as attachments. Check out the permissions for the account that is running the report server as well as permissions for yourself.

    Liz is the best person to ask for help with this.
