Hi Tessiturians,
I maybe overlooking something and I hope someone can point it out. We have SSRS setup in our shop and we usually run the SSRS-URL version, which runs peachy. However, I have a SSRS Post report that I am trying to run and I know it requires a slightly different setup.
I believe I have the t_defaults path setup correctly and the virtual directory setup correctly however I keep receiving this error:
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly. Requested URL: /tessitura/TessituraSSRSProxy/ssrsproxy.aspx Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.3082; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.3082 I have not a clue as to why the path cannot be found. I receive this error from both the browser and from the client. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Naomi

What do you have for your SSRS_PROXY setting in T_DEFAULTS?
It should be the direct URL to the virtual directory:
http://server/TessituraSSRSProxy
The other thing to check here is that the aspx file in the virtual directory is named “ssrsproxy.aspx” and not “ssrs.aspx”.
If I remember correctly, I believe that a pre-release version of v8.0 had this named incorrectly.

Hi Ryan,
IIS local path: C:\Tessitura\TessituraSSRSProxy
IIS Virtual path: /TessituraSSRSProxy
T_defaults SSRS_Proxy:http://tess1/TessituraSSRSProxy/
tess1 being the server
I receive the error browsing directly through IE as well so it is definately something with my IIS setup somewhere, I think.
Thanks!
Just another piece of information for this issue.
We have SSRS URL reports that run fine, however they do not pass any parameters.
When I try to run the interactive seat map report in URL format this is the error I receive through the application:
However it runs just fine on the report manager. What am I doing wrong?
