Merging with Word 2007 documents

Apologies if this has been asked and answered elsewhere!

When running a report and wishing to use a Word document, when navigating via windows Explorer to the appropriate directory, the default file type is "Word files (*.doc)" is the default setting.  I know it's only a couple of clicks but is it possible to make the dialogue box recognise both .doc and .docx files as a default?

We access Tessitura via a terminal server.  Is it a setting on the server or is there a switch within Tessitura that will allow this?
