Costume Hire

I have a quick question with regards to whether anyone is currently using Tessitura to manage Costume Hire.

 

I am working with our costume department at the moment in order to formalise payments through Tessitura for Costume Hire. At this stage we are simply looking to register payments and track hiring relationships – however I can see this taking on a whole new life as we explore options further and hopefully begin to integrate this into Tessitura more.

 

In a Next Generation context, this could extend the idea of a merchandise type module further to include opportunities to register the length of time an item is for the hire, the ability to track when a costume is returned,  and potential times when the costume is not available due to cleaning or repair work being carried out etc, etc. Food for thought at least!

 

Does anyone else currently process anything of this nature through Tessitura? I’d be interested to hear ideas of how it could work.
