I'm trying to export the payment type with the Membership Renewal Report and can't seem to find a reliable way of amending the AP_RENEWAL_NOTICE stored procedure to export this. I wondered if anyone else had tried this, or had any suggestions.

Sorry to say, no I did not find a way to do this via the standard renewals process or altering the AP_Renewal_Notice SP.
I created a couple of new views and query elements (using table partitions) as a workaround and exported the data at scheduled intervals. It's a bit convoluted but, all seems to have worked well to date.
