Mail exchange server IP address

Hi,

Is Tessitura database or other Tessitura servers stores mail exchange server IP address? If yes then which tables or server files it stores in.

    The short answer is 'yes' - primarily you'll find those columns in T_DEFAULTS.

    There are also occasions where you may need to enter the IP in a config file. Some services can be configured to reference Tessitura tables instead of the config files however.

    What exactly are you trying to acccomplish?

    I am looking at the options if we can replace IP addresses with DNS names and I don’t know if it is possible.

    I’d submit a ticket to TASK Support – they would be able to give the definitive answer. I may try it on my test server just to see what happens though ;)
