We just moved to ramp, which I'm not sure if this is part of the issue. Our autobill normally retrieves pretty clear info on why a transaction did not go through. However this time I ran into a new status on these errors I haven't seen before. Anyone else see "Transaction Status: Error" & know what that is? I'm inclined to believe it's declined CC's but want to check to make sure I don't need to do anything on my end to stop them from freezing.
When I enter the gift manually through Tessitura, I also get the same error message.
Thanks in advance!
Heyyy your idea worked! Thank you! Turns out they were declines….
If you happen to know how to change the system so that Tessitura matches this status rather than the ‘general error’ message – I’m all ears! Hehe
Thank you for your help!

Sera,
That error could be several things, but in my experience it is something related to card authorization. My suggestion would be to look in Transcend (or whatever middleware you are using to process credit cards), track down that attempted authorization and see if there is something more verbose in the rejection method. In the past I've found things like zip codes that don't match the billing address of the credit card.
