How can I update my Salutation_Inside field from a list with Tess ID?

Hi, we are trying to manage our individual records after the Household conversion and have hundreds of new individual records with Tess auto inserted "Dear" fields. We have run a report and changed the field manually through Excel and I would now love to "back dump" the info through some automated method to update the actual Tess records.

Can anyone please help?

Thanks!

  • Thanks Levi, I am used to using Razors Edge which allowed us more hands on updating

    George,

There really isn't a way to do this from the front end (although if someone has one, I'd love to get a peek at it).  If you have a Database person at your disposal, you can have them import the records directly into the database and update the values through SQL.

  • I do this quite regularly after constituent imports and the only solution I've found it via the SQL backend with UPDATE statements.
