Eftpos pinpad double charges

Hi everyone,

 

We have an intermittent problem where a customer using an Eftpos pinpad at the box office counter will be double charged though Tessitura only shows one transaction (box office usually says ‘it didn’t go through the first time, so I ran it again’) .  These random issues don’t correspond to any kind of server or network maintenance periods (either ours, or Payment Express), it doesn’t seem to happen with a particular card type or issuing bank, and it’s not specific to any one terminal.  Has anyone else experienced anything like this or have any words of wisdom?...  I would love to be able to tell Ticketing that it’s something other than a random hiccup because the connection between the pinpad and pc became loose!
