It's possible that I have lost some brain cells in my old age so forgive me if this is a silly question.
There are 2 columns in T_CONTRIBUTION that I have no recollection of. KGift_desc and KG_xfer_dt. I haven't actually looked closely at these tables since V11 so I'm assuming they got added during the upgrade.
I see that they are in the Table Structures document, but I have no idea what they are for. Looking at contributions where those fields are populated, it seems they are related to in-kind giving. But I can't figure out where they appear when viewing the contribution record from the front end.
Any help for my Friday-addled brain is appreciated.

In contribution entry, on the Notes/GIK tab these are the Gifts in Kind fields, transfer date and description.
