Currently we have 2 versions of Infomaker 12.1. One on our test server and one on our Data Architect's PC for modifying reports. The test server is 12.1 build 7055 and the Data Architect's is 12.1 7107. The test server can connect to a SQL server\instance on a separate box but the data architect;s cannot. The connection information is the same 'SQLOLEDB" and it allows you to browse SQL servers and the tess instance with no problem. On the Data Architect's machine you can select SQLOLEDB but only the server name is displayed in the drop down and we get an error trying to connect. The test server is 2008 64bit andt he client is Windows XP 32 bit. Can I create a DSN file to connect with the client? Is there a version mismatch? The data architect has admin priviliges to the desktop and the report share.
