We are trying to adjust the size of the Ack Postcard, from a tractor feed printer sized at 6"x4.25" to a regular laser printed sized at 5.5x4.25" in a 2x2 matrix per page. The sizing is very similar but because the data is placed on the post cards is in the bottom portion of the layout, we need to adjust the size so that it doesn't overlap.
The report uses w_subscription_ack_report window, which we aren't able to access, however we found d_subscription_ack_report which is the equivalent.
d_subscription_ack_report is setup to use tabloid(11"x17") paper that "magically" prints 3 sets of output at 6"x4.25" on screen in tessitura but prints consecutively on a tractor feed printer.
How this transition happens, i can't seem to understand.
Height: 4.25 x 3 = 12.75 Where as the paper size is 17, significantly larger then infomaker's specifications. Where are the other 4.25? Why isn't it 4 per page?
Width: The infomaker file itself - doesn't have any specification that its 6" across, so how it goes from 6" to 11" I also can't figure out. Does anyone know where and how this transition occurs?
