I was wondering how other network members track gift certificates. We currently use a method of payment for gift certificate purchases, but it's proving difficult to track/report. The Gift Certificate Listing won't include fully redeemed GC's, and we have a custom report built for tracking them (with purchaser, redeemer, amount, balance info), but it pulls incorrect numbers when tickets are refunded to a GC.
Does someone out there in cyberspace have a reliable way to report these? Or a more reliable way to process them? What we were specifically looking to report is a list of all gift certificates purchased in a time period and the current balance on those GC's (even if redeemed).
