Hi everyone,
Does anyone out there have a SSRS report that looks much like a seating chart, but color codes together say people who have seats on the same order? Or just an example of a SSRS report that looks like a seating chart in general.

I believe that Paul Woods has a SSRS 2008 version of his Perf Dashboard example. This would be available in his samples from the Intro to SSRS session from TLCC 2011. He graciously plagiarized my script and incorporated it into that. You can probably take that or my updated example for this year’s conference and tweak to your liking. It’s a mammoth script that isn’t necessarily speedy (it’s no small feat for SQL Server to munge through an entire seat map of data on the fly without regards to optimization), but it will get you on your way.
Best of luck!

Ryan -
I know either Ryan Creps (sheesh, where is he, usually he beats everyone to the punch ;) ) or Paul Woods did an example that highlighted seats for a particular constituent, so I'm guessing that's an easy tweak to get to order and is floating out there somewhere...

Here is a link to the samples. What we are looking for (Stuart also works at ACT) is a bit different, as we would like color codingby order so that we can easily chart large groups within shows, however I think the report from Ryan Creps also has the ability to highlight people on a list, so it might be a start.
Thanks Amanda!
