Why, when trying to just use One list as a filter on a dashboard my only options are the list I am looking for but pared with other lists I don't want?
This is how Lists work with Analytics, which is weirdly and counterintuitively. Each customer has a value which is a comma-separated string of all the Analytics flagged lists they are a member of. In order to filter on a list you search for "contains" and your list number wrapped in commas, so if the list number is 12345 it would be Contains: ",12345,".

thank you. I do see what you and the documentation are talking about but it still didn't just give me the one list.
I think maybe you still don't quite have it. You can't select from the List of "Lists" in a filter and have it work in any normal sense. You have to choose "Text" and then "Contains".
Let's say
Each customer in Analytics has a "List" value associated with them. In this case, Customer A's looks like ",23,123," and Customer B's is ",59,123,".
To filter down to everyone in List 123 you would Filter on List using Text:Contains ",123,", which will match to the List value for both Customer A and Customer B.
(I've chosen those numbers to further illustrate why you need to put a comma on both sides of the List number you are selecting: if you just put in "23" it would give you anyone in List 23 and anyone in List 123, 223, 231, etc.)
Maybe this isn't going to work then how I am hoping. I was trying to use Keywords to pull a list of patrons/shows my list ,681, (keyword is to find our family show patrons)To use in analytics to then only show sales numbers, ticket counts, price type counts for Adults vs Youth price types for all FY or just selected ones based on that list of patrons.
I guess is there a way to have this just be one result the one list I am looking for?
That filter should successfully limit your results to only include customers in list 681.
Okay - then this will not work, fun to know though. We are new and I am trying to figure out how to best pull data to family specific shows, but all of these shows are mixed into our two over all Title umbrellas Reser Presents or Rentals. So as seasons are built now I was trying to find a way without having to go in and remember and check each performance in analytics I know to be family productions, to try to find sales numbers each FY just for these shows, or ticket counts, and how many kid Price Type vs. Adult price types. -- Moving forward I don't know if this can be easily fixed by leaving the set up similar and just assigning a ##-## Family Season? under the Production Seasons tab? Or under Titles adding a Family Programming options and then just assigning the correct season to the shows either ##-## Reser Presents or ##-## Rentals...Thanks for all the help
