Hello all,
As I understand it, on the performance summary tab of a performance, the revenue capacity is made up using what the current base price is for that performance in Tessitura.
In Tess analytics I can replicate that capacity revenue number by using the the Sum of the 'seat home base value' measure. However, because of dynamic pricing, that total revenue capacity or seat home base value can change over time depending on price events. We may have performances that were initially priced the exact same way, but vary in their total revenue capacity due to dynamic pricing.
What I would like to do is sort of go back in time to the start of a season when no dynamic pricing was in play, to get a sense of what the total revenue capacity was. Is there a way to do that or see that in analytics either by applying a date filter or using another measure I might not be looking at?
Thanks,
Mike
Hi Michael thank you for posting! If you're still looking for input, it could be useful to cross-post to the Analytic Coffee Community? Hopefully you'd receive some responses over there.- Gill Tasker, Community Manager
Hi Michael,
Gill's post bumped this back up for me, and yeah, analytics Coffee if this doesn't sort it maybe... Have you tried using the [Seat Home Base Value] vs the [Seat Current Base Value] to see starting vs current total potential financial capacity?
