I'm trying to figure out the best way to see how successful the round-up donations have been since we implemented them. I'm sure there is a pretty simple way to pull this in Analytics but I'm stuck on filters. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
Are you tracking them in any way through a specific source or appeal? That would be my recommendation to start.
No. I thought I could use it through the payment method which would be a specific on account one for donations?
Got it! In that case you should be able to use the Finance Cube and filter your widget based on a specific payment method.
The Finance Cube has all the information all the time, but it can be tricky to filter (so to speak) only what you're looking for. If you do want to look only at a specific Payment Method, Finance Cube is your best bet. There also is a standard report called 'Income by Payment Method'
but I haven't tinkered with that one much.
I was hoping that report would work but since it's an on account and then development pulls the funds out, it doesn't report anything.
Hi Melanie - I'm not sure if it'll work for you as you mention that the donations are moved but have you tried the finance cube, transaction category / contribution in order?
