I'm hoping there is a simple answer to this question that I'm just overlooking as a new user.
I'm trying to pull a report of all contributions to a select fund and need it to include stand-alone donations, pledges, and pledge installments. I'm getting stuck on the pledge installments.
Ideally I'd love the date and amount of each gift with a column indicating if it is a donation, pledge, or installment. Pledge balance would be a bonus.
Thanks in advance for any guidance anyone can provide.
Hi Melissa, are you looking for a report, building your own report, or doing this in Analytics? If the latter, assuming you're looking to see each pledge payment broken out on a row, I think you'll actually want to use the Finance Cube.
Hi Gawain - the ultimate goal is an easy to read report that I can send to my development team. However we can get there is fine by me. We recently switched from Raiser's Edge so what the development solicitors are used to seeing is an Excel but if we can get them the same information in an easy to understand way via a report or Analytics that would be ok.
Since you're new to Tessitura, you might cross-post this in the Development forum (if you haven't): someone there might be able to quickly point you to a built-in report (I'm not an expert on development reporting by any stretch). If you go to Analytics, the Finance Cube is less user friendly than the others, but you'd be looking for transactions of types Gift, Pledge, and Pledge Payment, and they do have some rudimentary contribution information as well, such as Campaigns and Funds, that you can attach to the transactions.
