Is there any documentation or webinar that shows a step by step procedure of how to cusomize a standard report then save it as a localy used report? Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
That sounds like a great suggestion for a T-Cast, George! I'll get to work on that.
In the meanwhile, you can find that information in these two webinars:
Infomaker and Tessitura I: A basic overview of writing custom reports and adding them to Tessitura.
InfoMaker and Tessitura II: Tips and tricks for designing custom Tessitura reports and screens in Infomaker
I'd second that idea. Lots of us have done this, but I'm sure we've all stumbled somewhere along the way.
George, the short version of the process is to grab the standard reports PBL (available on TASK I believe). Then save the particular report you want to work on into your local custom PBL (rename it along the way so it doesn't conflict in any way). Then make your edits, create a new entry in Report Setup, add the report to the appropriate user groups and off you go!
Of course, when I tried it the first time I ended up in a corner huddled in the fetal position. But it gets easier with practice.
