Hi there,
I'm putting together a comp ticket widget that shows the number of comp tickets, the comp reason, and revenue lost to comps. I'm finding (none) as the biggest comp reason. I checked to make sure a "reason" wasn't assigned to a comp price type and couldn't find anything.
Then, I realized that this may be ticket exchanges. Does anyone know what this is or can they confirm that the (none) comp reason is because of ticket exchanges? Screenshot below so you can see my criteria. Thanks so much!
If you use the Comp ticket price for comps online they won't have a reason code attached. So turn on Pricing Rules and see if that gains more info. If you use an Exchange Mode of Sale you could also add that to this filter and see if your exchange thought is correct. Also - you can look at source (if you have an exchange source code) and that would show Pricing rules and exchanges.
Just jumping in to say, the reason why they don't show up in online purchases is that Comp Reasons aren't in the API . Price Types can be a kind of grotesque workaround since they are in the API, i.e. one price type per comp reason. I guess I ought to add Comp Reasons in API to the ideas list if I haven't already.
