We do monthly analytics where we see how many member "tickets" (can include scans) were purchased. The members that bought physical tickets I can just run an Attendance by Performance report and select only the Member Price Types to get that number. However, there is no Price Type for Member Scan (since we aren't really selling a ticket).
Currently what I do is just skip selecting a Price Type and just get stuck with everything on that report for each performance. I then write down on a piece of paper the number of scans for each performance (sometimes up to 25 different numbers), then do the math of adding them all by hand and taking the total of scans and adding it to the total of sold tickets to get the final total number that I need.
There has to be an easier way to do this! I tried the Nscan Access Report, but it gives me everyone who scanned in a ticket or member card that day. That doesn't help us because we just need our members and don't want the other tickets getting mixed in (we don't know all of our members by name, so there could be a GenPub Constituent in there that we could possibly include accidentally as a member because we are not sure).
Does anyone have a better way of tracking this data? All I need is the total number of member scans in a month.

I ended up having to create a "Seats & Tickets" dashboard in Analytics. I did a Pivot table, put Price Type Category in Rows and Total Attended Count in Value.
Currently our set-up Price Type Categories are "Standard" "Comp" "Discount" and "Member" so those come up on the pivot table, but then there are also rows for "Adult" and "Child" (which are the member card scans).
I can send you my .dash file for that dashboard if you'd like. It's pretty simple, but gets the job done.
