Hi all,
Trying to convert a big excel with multiple tabs into a dashboard so it is easier to maintain during the festival period.
Have managed some of it but struggling with a few areas so any help would be appreciated.
1. I have a table created showing our highest revenue events and another showing our lowest, how do I tidy it up so it only shows the top or bottom 10 and not every single event?
2. I need to show the amount gained from our booking fee's during the festival. Is this possible? I put the fees into the Ticketing Setup and have created the Fee rules so it will apply to the correct events.
3. I need to create a table that shows every event with their daily movement in ticket sales/$ revenue and their cumulative movement over the course of our on sale period.
4. Finally, I have created a bar chart that shows the total revenue of previous festivals and has the new festival lined up next to it, is it possible to adapt this so it goes up day by day across all years? A Matching sales day comparision with $ revenue across the past 5 or so years.
Understand that is a lot but any help here would be appreciated. Would make my life easier during the festival!
Thanks,
Iain
Hi IainI can help with some of this.1. On the 'Value' element in the left navigation select the funnel 'Filter' icon. The second option 'Ranking' has built in Top and Bottom functionality. There isnt a way to do the top 10 and bottom 10 together in a single widget so do two widgets with different filters.2. Fee revenue is actually recorded in the 'Finance' cube, not Seats and Tickets. Add a new Widget, then in the upper right change the Cube to SWFL Finance. Search for 'Fee' in Select Data - you should see the Fee types and Fee amounts. Let me think some more on the others ...!Peter
Hi Peter,
Thanks for that. Have sorted the fee revenue. However, when clicking on the ranking filter as you suggested, it doesn't seem to want to update my data at all. Have restarted Analytics and still not happening.
Any idea why that might be happening?
Cheers,
It should look like this, clicking the Filter on the Ticket Paid Amount Value
Are you not seeing these options?
No I am. Just when I choose "Top 10" say then it just refreshes and shows the same information. It doesn't filter it down to just 10 items like it should.
Hi Iain, OK cant explain that. You are seeing the 'Top 10 By Measure' at the bottom of the Filter screen and clicking OK?The screenshot is actually from your environment and it seems to be working fine.It might be best to go to Support and attach the Dashboard with the issue to the ticket.
Will do. Thanks Peter.
Hey Peter,
Just letting you know I sorted this out with the help from Tessi Support.Did you manage to come up with anything for the other two points?
