My museum used to be able to input our Volunteers hours into Altru (our previous CRM) on a monthly basis. We would keep daily track in an Excel sheet, add each volunteer's hours up at the end of the month, and put that number under their specific Constituent profile. We have not been able to easily locate an option in Tessitura to do that.
Is there an option in Tessitura that will allow us to keep a record of each Volunteer's monthly volunteer hours? If there is, does it involve a lot of steps to get it set up?
Could you use special activities for this? I suppose it depends what you currently use Special Activities for. We use it for non-ticketed activity where we want to keep the constituent central to the data capture. For example, individuals/artists/workers doing workshops for us perhaps in a school or community. So it would follow that something like volunteer hours could maybe go in there too somehow. It wouldnt be perfect but would be out of the box.
We are actually getting Tessitura Tech Support to build something for us, so we will see what they come up with.
