Hi group-
A colleague of mine posted this in the Marketing Forum a few days ago, but has received no responses. I know this Forum is more active and has a ton of smart people on it. So...any thoughts/advice/info on Contact Point Purposes? Due to the WordFly issue, we quickly switched to Prospect2 and while I have not been involved on the email side I understand that P2 leverages CPP.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

We are not using Contact Point Purposes yet but are looking to start. Is anyone who is using them able to share some best practices, lessons learned, etc. to help get us started? We have just switched to Prospect 2, in case there's anything that might be helpful to know about that piece of the puzzle.
Hi there,
We got ours set up with P2 and Tessitura talking to each other within the last year. It's a bit of a convoluted setup with TNEW interests that talk to a list that is a data sync in P2 that then talks back to Tess but seems to work well. The part I can't speak on is how we are using them. We wanted more people to opt in/out of the purposes before we started using them for our segments.
Thanks for the insight!
Hi Mark! We are in the exact same spot as you - a quick switch to P2 and now trying to put all the pieces together. Happy to chat offline about how I am thinking about approaching - we are in the early stages and a thought partner would be great!. Send me an email and we can find a time to chat - jlevy@sfopera.comBestJess LevySan Francisco Opera
Hi Mark and Jess - we also just recently launched Prospect2 so would be happy to connect. We were using CPPs with Wordfly already before making this switch, but we've used this transition as an opportunity to have a re-think and change our 'menu' of CPPs to be more simple and user-friendly when patrons manage the types of emails they want. We did get the Prospect2-CPP integration up and running so that data is flowing back and forth, so far so good...
Hi Evan, we are moving to CPPs due to Prospect2's limitations with Contact permissions and would love to chat to you and see how things are going with your P2/ CPP integration.
