alterations to Full Bio report?

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone will take pity on me because I couldn’t go to the conference this year!

I’m looking for a report that will (for a given list) give me a constituent’s name and phone number, the associated record’s name, phone number and relationship, and notes for the constituent.  The Full Bio is so close- the only thing it doesn’t do is give phone numbers (and it’s rather annoying that it’s one page per person!).  Has anyone done any alterations that they’d be willing to share?

Cheers,

Kathleen

    Hi Kathleen,

Assuming that you haven't  found an answer to your question...

Odd--I could have swore that before the upgrade, phone numbers did appear in the Full Bio Report. Anyway, here is what I just discovered and perhaps this will pertain to you:

During our conversion, many phone numbers went to places other than Phone 1 and Phone 2 (e.g. Home Phone, Business Phone, etc). If Phone 1/2 are blank, they won't show up on the Full Bio Report. Unfortunately, I don't know of a quick and easy way to move phone numbers that have been placed under the line to be copied and placed into Phone 1/2.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but I hope it helps if you haven't already found a solution.

    Best,
    Michelle

  • If you can live with the 1-sheet per constituent, you should be able to make a sub-report for the Full Bio that would pull all of the contact information (email addresses, phone numbers, whatever else you wanted) and then ember the sub-report in the Full bio.

The other way to go would be to make a local copy of the sub report containing the contact information and modify it for your purposes.

I'm assuming here that you have someone around with some infomaker and SQL skills.  If you don't, I think your best bet is to go with some custom output set elements.

But I think Michelle is right.  The first step is to find out where those missing phone numbers are living before you dive in much deeper.
