Hello!
I'm new to Tessitura, so this is probably something most of you could do in a second. I am needing to generate a report on all contributions over a certain amount for the last fiscal year. After working in Extraction Manager and Analytics, I just can't get it to work quite how I want.
Any information or pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. I'm currently working on building my groundwork of understanding Tessitura so I can really dive in deeper soon.

Hi David, I suppose it really depends on what information you need related to the contributions. I do all of my contribution output out of analytics. It sounds like you just need to apply a couple filters to achieve your desired result.
I create a table widget in analytics and add the columns I want to output/visualize.
And then however you are organizing your contributions by fiscal year, we use campaign, you would filter by that value. You can do it one of two ways, you can hover over the value in your columns if it is one you selected to see in your desired report. Click on the funnel/filter button.This allows you to filter by the fiscal year campaigns. Again perhaps you have another value but this is what we use.

And then click Ok to apply that filter. (You can also apply the filter by using the filter panel on the right, scrolling to find your desired value to filter by.
And then similarly, you want to filter by amount. Using these operators and values to achieve your desired result.

similarly if it is for a date range you can do the same using the contribution date value. When you've added the date, filter that value just like the above, I like to use the calendar
There is always the good old Fund Activity report (finance folder) that gives you a lot of options for slicing and dicing.
