We are doing a promotion for which we use certain Mode of Sale, and an allocation that is set only to that Mode of Sale. We often sell out days in advance. I'm looking for a way to say "For this performance(s), how many seats are reserved, and how many seats are remaining, in this mode of sale/allocation?"
Is that doable? Besides using TNEW, logging in and switching the MoS, or going through each day's seat map and manually counting, I can't find a way to have this question answered. Is there a report that would answer this question? I've combed through the Ticketing Box Office section of reports, and also through Analytics.

Try this: Start a new order in the Mode of Sale in question. Switch to the Product Catalog tab, and find the performance in either the calendar or the product search screen. Right click on the performance, and choose Product Reference Guide. In the Availability tab, you'll see an "Allocated" column which indicated how many seats are available in that mode of sale's allocation (broken down by price zone). And then in the Performance Summary tab, you'll see Total Sales, which reflects how many seats have been sold.

Is there a way to get a report of some sort to list that information in a time-efficient way? I'd love to be able to hand our Guest Experience team a report that breaks down the day before our gates open.

If you want, I can email you a SQL query that you can take the results and then make a pivot table to see this. I use this to proof our allocation setup of our daily timed general admission performance before they go on sale.

Like you, I checked and didn't see a report that gives what you're looking for all together, unfortunately. A query like Neil's or a quick custom report might be a good option until you've upgrade to 16 and have the Analytics option.
