We basically have two types of packages. Complete: includes all of our main performances. Essential: includes the main shows but excludes The Nutcracker. The conundrum: our marketing department wants us to report on any Essential package that has a The Nutcracker add-on (ex: swapped out for a different perf date), but call it a Complete package.
How do I trick Analytics into looking for Essential package orders with Nutcracker add-ons and counting them as a Complete package? And providing accurate package counts/paid amounts on top of that? Would a custom report be able to do this?
I think you're talking about a custom report, but this is such a fundamentally messy request that I'd want a long, hard look at what the reporting is seeking to accomplish first, and if it's justified, then the next step would be a long hard look at package design, with a custom report that tries to fudge these definitions around a remote third.
