Whenever we run any list in List Manager, we get customers' middle initials and we want to eliminate the middle initial from the data. I don't see a way to do that. Customer mname is listed in the output elements but that seems to be something you would check if you want to include it in the output. The list includes it even when I don't select it.
What output set element are you using to pull name?
FirstName A1, LastNameA1
Hi Regina! Is it possible that your output elements, as Michelle pointed out, are custom? Maybe they are pulling in the Middle initial erroneously. I would try shifting your output elements to the more standard elements for first and last name: Customer_lname , Customer_fname (in the Constituent group)...maybe that will get you closer? We have custom elements for A1/A2 as well, but separate out the middle name.
Is the Middle initial in the salutation? Like Heidi Below:If so you may want to check your salutation settings.
