Report/Dashboard to Review Current Price Events for a Given Performance

Is there a way within Tessitura to report on the current Price Events for a particular performance?

We partner with Digonex to setup and maintain our Price Events, which update each morning . We can view the current prices through our calendar page, or through Tessitura itself, or through TNEW. However, occasionally we'll lose internet and need to do manual sales, and for that we'll need a list of prices by zone for the day. Or, we'll want our back-office staff to have a quick-reference guide for the pricing. We get daily emails from Digonex, but those emails include pricing for months in advance, and they're cluttered. I wasn't able to find anything in Analytics either, beyond the 'Base Price' metric.

Is there a report or dashboard within Tessitura to provide that information?

  • ,

Are you saying that you just need to be aware of the current price at that particular moment in time, or do you truly need to know specifically which ones have been affected by a price event that day?  If you need to specifically see which prices were in fact changed by a pricing event on that day, I am not aware of anything that does that.

If it is just making sure that you have the "up to the moment" price for the seats based on any price events that might have been activated, you can do that in Season Manager by looking at the Pricing tab for the event.  There is a box in the top right corner that gives the "Pricing As Of" which automatically prefills in the current date and time when you open that tab (and you can then change it if you are looking for prices at a different date/time).

  • Thanks for the reply!

I use Season Manager/Season Maintenance to check on the status of Price Events for a given set of performances, which is useful. But I want to have that data automated out to a given set of emails, daily. In other words 'for this performance, these are the available prices for these zones'. I've put in a support ticket- hopefully they'll have some productive feedback.

  • Nathanael, did you ever get feedback on this? I have similar reporting needs.

    Thanks,

    Olivia

  • I haven't, no. I can access Price Event information for a single day, as John mentioned, but I haven't found anything that is able to scale up and produce the information we need, automatically.
