Hi everyone! We want to do a Frontline/Essential Workers campaign to offer free event tickets for certain events but, logistically, we aren't sure how to verify who qualifies. With veterans, they have military ID cards. Is anyone doing something similar? Ideas would be appreciated!
Hi Staci! We are doing a similar promotion at Opera Colorado. We are asking for employment ID cards from everyone. Thinking through what groups we are offering tickets to (EMTS/Fire/Law Enforcement, Medical Staff, Dispatchers/First Responders, etc), everyone we are hoping attend have an ID of some sort that should verify them. We also are creating specific links to send to those invited via a typeform and then importing into the database. Hope this helps a little!
Thanks Vee! Are you asking specific questions to verify them in the typeform?
Not necessarily, since it is a private link, we aren't asking any questions about 'Place of employment' or 'Type of Frontline Worker' rather just asking for the employment ID card.
We are doing this in Orlando as well!
Using a form on our site to capture information, that then sends to our BO for ticket processing. We are asking for an ID to be shown at Will Call to collect tickets.
Here's the site page - https://orlandophil.org/heroes-event/
We are also doing something similar in January for educators and are ok with it being anyone who works in a school.
Hope this helps!
