Way to add plain text to formula boxes?

Is there a way to add a comment or two to a formula field in Analytics? Things that wouldn't impact the formula's function, but would alert the user to changes, or provide reference to formula evolution. Something like:

[SUM(Ticket Count) - (etc....)]

/NOTE: formula updated 9.15.21 NP - subtracted (etc...) from Ticket count

/NOTE: check the performance date rows before downloading - 9.21.21 NP

I would find this quite helpful- to track what changes were made when, etc. I can add in a text widget, but those can be counter-productive in auto-emailed dashboards, plus it'd be nice to have the notes at the place where they were enacted.
