Google Analytics - ISO samples of dashboards for tracking Digital Content engagement

Hi y'all!

With TNEW Gated Digital Content having been released one year ago, I am wondering now how folks are tracking engagement. Since each digital content page has a unique URL, you can track page views and duration for each of your digital offerings and I am curious to see if anyone has created a Google Analytics dashboards to capture this information and see which content is most viewed. I am looking for any kind of samples to showcase what is possible, so if you have some screenshots you would be willing to share, I would appreciate it.

  • We went down the Google Analytics route initially but then ended up tracking based on views in Vimeo (where we hosted our gated content) because our team felt it was more useful to know when someone hit play as opposed to just when they loaded the digital content page. I exported this data into Data Studio and did some visualizations at the end of each run. A link to this report is included in our Tessitura Analytics show report. Happy to share our final product if it's at all helpful.
