Count Years Subscriber

Good Morning,

I am attempting to display how many years our season ticket holders have been a season ticket holder, and was hoping to get some clarification on "Count Years Subscriber"

1. Using a pivot table:

  • Filter by:
    • List
    • Package Season = Broadway
  • Rows
    • Package Season
  • Values
    • # Unique CID
  • Columns
    • Count Years Subscriber (excludes zero)

My report goes back 13 years.  I need some assistance deciphering the results:

  • One question is why don't I get the same numbers in all seasons in year 13, shouldn't it be the same?

Any assistance would be most appreciated.  Maybe there is a better way to go about this?

Thanks,

Kimberly

  • The Count Years Subscriber is specific to the constituent and independent of any subscription-related filters in the dashboard/widget. If you have other packages, those are included in the Count Years Subscriber (unless you've explicitly excluded them as a rule in the element's definition in TX_ANALYTICS_DIVISION_ELEMENT) because it's pre-calculated. What this grid is giving you is out of people who had that package in that season, a count of how many total fiscal years in which they have something in Package History. Since this count comes from a table including conversion data, the thirteen years in the report are not necessarily the only years being counted in Count Years Subscriber. Hope that helps.
