I'm working in a widget that covers a date range of October '20 through April '21. I want to arrange the months that make up the X-axis in that date order, instead of calendar year order. You can see below April '21 actually shows before October '20. So I'd like the month order to be October '20, November, December, January, February, March, April '21 etc.
I feel like I've seen this kind of issue before in the forums, but don't remember what the solution is. Any thoughts? I could output the data and do it in an excel chart but this seems like something I would come across quite a bit where campaigns/ticket seasons start and carry over into new calendar years.
Any help with this one would be appreciated and when I get an answer I will bookmark this one!
Hi Michael,
Instead of using 'Calendar Month Name' in your X-Axis, try using 'Date' and then in the drop-down under 'List', select Months and then tick the relevant months. It then shows in the correct order (but does display it as mm/yyyy, rather than the name of the month).
