I drew up a report in Analytics for our Finance folks (perf date, total ticket count, attended, free tickets, etc.). Over the past few weeks, they've raised questions about the fact that refunds/reschedules will adjust past days' numbers. They want refunds/tickets applied to memberships/date switches to impact future dates, but not past dates.
We could use comp tickets for the new date, I suppose, but then those tickets wouldn't carry any revenue. We also return tickets and apply the balance toward membership, which affects past dates as well. Would it be possible to freeze past dates like that? Or would that require a customized report of some sort?
Have other organizations encountered this problem?
