I am about to work on a dashboard for our board members to show giving and ticket purchases over the past 3 years. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or things to consider when creating this dashboard. I know there are many caveats to getting board information into reports, let alone a dashboard. For instance, board constituencies are on the individual record, but transactions are on the household. Board often give with their IF, so in Analytics soft credits currently don't show up for the board member. Also, not all board members might donate or purchase, so only those with activity would be in the dashboard. Would it be better to use constituencies, lists or a combination of both? Any pointers that anyone might have to offer is appreciated.
