Hello, We are selling timed entry tickets for our admission and exhibition performances with the zone acting as the entry time slot- 60 minutes. I am attempting to create a dashboard that shows when tickets are marked at attended within an entry time slot. Anecdotally, we are seeing most people arrive within the first 20 minutes.
We are also seeing attrition and want to analyze arrival times and qty within each time slot to help us understand the behavior by entry time, performance, day of week, and price type so we can make a plan for releasing additional tickets to a standby line.
I tried using the Date field from the Attended Date dimension and display as Time and by Every Minute to display the Attended Count fact broken by Zone. However, Analytics only returns a "00:00" value and total Attended count for the entire zone. Assuming this means that Analytics does not include the time stamp from the T_ATTENDANCE table which is a bummer.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Matt
Hi Matt,
There is not currently a complete time stamp in Analytics, however, you can look at the Attended Hour field.

Thanks for the swift response Chris! I'll take a look and hope that minutes gets added some time soon. Cheers, Matt
Hi Chris,
I have been asked to look at what times audiences are scanned in in relation to the start time of the show.
(i.e. 30% of the audience scanned in 5mins before the show, 20% 10mins before the show etc.)
Looking at this in Analytics is it still the case that you can only look at the Attended time by house, and not by minute, for a sub line item?
Would be great if I could put something together in Analytics for this rather than having to build up as a SQL query or SSRS report.
Saw this post and thought I would double check as it is from a while ago!
Thanks, Donald
Not yet, Donald, but it's on a "shortlist"...
