Food & drink analysis based on production

Hi,

I would like to look at how many that have booked a certain menu for a specific production. For example I'm interested in knowing how many of those who saw Skönheten och Odjuret that booked Operameny. The problem is that our different menus are set up as productions/performances in Tessitura and however I try I can't manage to either create a list or get the result in Analytics. In the list I can get the people who have seen Skönheten och Odjuret and who at some time have purchased Operameny, but I can't manage to get a list that makes sure that they purchased Operameny to that specific performance. In Analytics the only way I can get the result is by manually choosing each Operameny-performance that correspond to the dates when we played Skönheten och Odjuret, but it takes a lot of time so it would be great if someone has a way of achieving this in a less time consuming way?

Kind regards,

Sofia

  • Hi Sofia,

As a starting point, filter by Production to just Skönheten och Odjuret and Operameny. Then in a Pivot widget, with Performance Date on Rows, followed by Production, add a Value for the Unique count of Constituent ID...

From there, as an intermediate step, I would create Filtered Values for the Unique Count of Constituent ID: one limited to just Skönheten och Odjuret and the next to just Operameny. Notice in those values the same counts are returned within each performance date, regardless of which Production row we look at.

Finally, create a formula for the Unique Count of Constituent ID that have Skönheten och Odjuret plus the Unique Count of Constituent ID that have Operameny minus the Unique Count of Constituent ID that have either (not necessarily "both") of those Productions. This will produce the Unique Count of Constituent ID that do have both.
