We are getting prepared to do another round of cancellations and I am hoping to use this dashboard to track revenue, especially tickets donated and refunded to a contribution. We do not have access yet to the latest version of the dashboard, I'm just trying to understand how it will work when I get it.
Does anyone know, in the latest version of the dashboard (v15.1.12), if the Ticket Donations widget will report on contributions to a fund associated with a membership campaign? I know there is a dashboard filter called Ticket Donation Fund, and that the widget is supposed to report on contributions to the fund specified in the filter, I just wasn't sure if the widget suppressed membership contributions (it does in the new Event Return Receipt HTML template).

The Event Cancellation Utility does not support using a fund associated with a membership campaign when run in contribution mode. If some of the contributions in question were processed manually, that may not matter but if you only used the utility, none should be membership contributions.
The widget does assume you are using a specific fund for donations coming from tickets returned out of cancelled performances, and that said fund was the one used when running the Event Cancellation Utility. If you're using multiple funds for these contributions, you could select all that are applicable in the widget. The presumption is still that these funds are not used for other contributions - that they are specific to returned tickets turned into contributions due to cancellation.
Put another way: the aim of the widget is to restrict itself just to the contributions that were a result of cancelled performance ticket returns, and the filter can and should be edited to reflect your business practice in order to isolate the applicable contributions.
Thanks for the clarification. All of the ticket returns will be done manually, not using the event cancellation utility. All returned tickets that are being donated are going to a specific fund, so that is not a problem. I can use just one fund in the dashboard filter. I was just concerned because it is a fund associated with a membership campaign and I didn't know if the widget was filtering those out in some way.
