Physically Distancing Seated Audiences Pop-up Question

Hey all,

In the pop-up session that was done on 6/4, Chris Wallingford showed a cool dashboard that had seat maps and all that fun jazz. The first widget is a total seat value number. The top number is "gross potential" for the fake event made to plan socially distanced seated projections. The number below is "Typical Gross Potential". How was this done? I want to make a dashboard similar but I need to make it very easy to use. I'd really like to only have one dashboard to use but I don't see how to easily separate (and then use for filtering of respective information) the fake event seat maps (especially if you want to try different socially distanced maps to see what might work best) from the comparitor events.

  • Hi Chris,

As we did with the Cancellation Impact Dashboard, we've pre-released the Tessitura Analytics Event Forecasting Dashboard Example as a Shared Dashboard for those who need early access or who won't be able to apply the August service pack immediately.

This doesn't include the "Typical Gross Potential" from past comparator, however, with a formula using a filtered value, you can easily pull in the ( [Total Seat Count] , [Performance Date and Code] ) from any historical performance you like as part of a greater formula or on its own, regardless of the widget and dashboard level filters. And you can do that using Performance Date and Code, or just the Performance Code, or the Performance ID.
